Deshawn has big news! ***UPDATED***

Well Deshawn officially lost his first tooth yesterday. He was so excited to have the tooth fairy come and take his tooth away. When he woke up he came running into our room and had to show us his crisp $1 bill. He was sleeping in Parkers room and so Parker came up with some long winded story about how he got in a pillow fight with the tooth fairy and she hugged him and told him that he needed to hurry and lose a tooth so she could come back. That kid cracks me up. His stories are so out there sometimes and I honestly believe he believes himself half the time.

***Just as I finished typing this post Adam and Deshawn were messing around and Adam ended up hitting Deshawns other tooth and it was so loose that we had to yank it out. So now he wants to know why he talks so funny :)***

I have once again been a terrible blogger but I feel like I don't have alot of time to blog like I use to. I hate it because I love blogging and things have been going well for us lately so I should be blogging about it.

Me and Rick just got back last week from a deer hunting trip. We hiked our behinds off and took alot of 4wheeler trips. The trees were starting to change colors and being in the mountains in the fall is such an incredible feeling. We were on these trails in the middle of nowhere and it was so pretty. Plus I got to share all of this beauty with my wonderful husband. It was nice to be able to spend one on one time with him. He is so much fun to spend time with and we always have so much fun being together.

While we were gone Adam had his 11th birthday (I know we are bad parents leaving our kid on his birthday) I can't believe he is 11 already. Time seriously flies. I just love that kid so much.

Deshawn is doing so well with school this year. He is attending the same school as the other 2 boys this year and he is loving it. On Friday he came home and I pulled out his homework and told him to wait for me to finish the dishes and I would help him with his math and he told me that it was okay he didn't need my help so I let him go for it and when I finished the dishes I figured I better check it and see if he did it right and he did all 3 pages correctly. I was floored. He is a smarty pants :)

Parker he always has a story to tell. He comes home with some of the funniest stories sometimes. One of his stories was that his teacher locks the kids in the bathroom and won't let them out until they pee their pants. Only my Parker can come up with something so out there.

Work is going well for me. I am still super excited about the benefits that I will get. Medical, Dental , Life , Vision and Disability plus 401k and Utah state retirement. It is such a nice feeling. Alot of my worries are no more.

Ricks work is hit and miss. I am hoping that he will be able to stay busy through the winter. As for right now they have been working pretty steady. He is still having problems with his back and I hate that he is in pain all the time. Hopefully now that we have insurance maybe he can have it looked at again.

So yeah we are hangin in there and I will try to post more often. There are a few people who have been complaining about how I have been neglecting my blog so I guess I better stop slackin.
