Well deshawn's doctor visit went good today. He did get an official diagnosis of PDD-NOS. This is not autism but it is in the same family. Hopefully now that we know what it is we can search our options and make a more informed decisions on how to care for him. There is no cure all but there are behavior therapies, speech therapies and there are also meds that can help with the anxiety issues he has.

ok so they way i understand it is that because of his no communication skills he is diagnosed as this...so what does this mean for dee?
It's not just the communication he also has other behaviors that help them decide he should be diagnosed. I will work on a list of the things dee does and also what it exactly means for dee in the future. So watch for my next post.
