I know, I know

I know I have been a terrible blogger lately. I have just been all over the place and I am trying to figure out life. I know that is an impossible feat but none the less I am trying.

In the last 3 weeks I have been trying to find employment to no avail. I had the one interview which went well but I didn't end up getting the job. I have sent my resume to a few other places and have heard nothing but I am holding out promise on one job that is a GREAT job that pays well and has great benefits but it will require alot more commitment from me than I want but I am willing given the circumstances. But I know they have received numerous resumes from qualified people so I am not overly confident. Time will tell :)

As far as my fam goes they are doing well. My boys are a little bored because I don't want to spend any extra money because all the moo la I have I am trying to hang on to incase we need it so I am trying to become creative and come up with some things that won't cost me anything to do.

Rick has had some major back issues the last month and it has been kindof scary to me with me being laid off and all but I do think he is on the healing side of things now. I have felt so bad for all the pain he has had to endure. He has been on steroids, antinflamitories and loritabs until this week and he had had a pretty tough week with work this week. Which is a good thing and a bad thing. Good because they are busy with work but bad because he needs time to heal but he is a trusty employee and is there every day.

Adam just finished up his little league and made it 3 rounds in the city league which is better than he did last year. He was a little disappointed but shhhhh.....don't tell him that I am kindof glad it is over. Other than that he is having fun being a kid which is exactly how I want it.

Deshawn is doing well. Today he came up to me and told me that he loves being black. It was totally out of the blue but it made me proud that we have instilled in him how wonderful he is and that because he is different that only makes him that much more special. God I love that kid :)

Parker...well he is Parker. He is amazing! I have never met such an independent little guy that is such a mommies boy. I love every minute of it. He is my invincible little monkey that is all over the place. Dee and Parker both just finished coach pitch and they were adorable.

As for Mwa I am still on the frustrated side but I am sure it is nothing I can't handle. I just wish the universe would throw me a bone but I still understand there is a time and a place for everything.

Anyway I am going to try to be a better blogger.

job interview

Well I got a phone call yesterday asking me to come in for a job interview for a lunch lady postition at a nearby jr high. So I went over there and I just got back. I hate interviews. My mouth gets all dry and I can barely talk. At least I don't shake because that would be a dead givaway that I was nervous. Anyway so keep your fingers crossed for me. This job would be perfect for our family.

Emotions

Rick warned me on Friday that my emotions would be crazy this week. He has experience with being laid off. I didn't beleive him but he was right. I am feeling so out of control emotionally that all I want to do is scream or cry. It probably doesn't help that I am pms I just feel like I am all over the place. I called to see if I can get unemployment because my work had told me that I qualified for it and since I didn't have a job before this one I cannot collect unemployment until October. How freeking frustrating.

I feel like everytime I blog I am negative nelly but I need this outlet to help get my emotions under control. For the last few months I have not been happy at all. I feel like I have no control over how my life is going and it is pissing me off.

I need to go break up a fight before the boys kill each other :) I will keep ya'll updated on whats up. Especially now that I actually have time to blog now.

Laid Off

So just when I get through my probation period at work and I am about to FINALLY get insurance I got called to the bosses office and they kindly they laid me off. I kindof saw it coming but still I hate having to start over again with another company and have to wait another 3 months to get insurance. I guess it is what it is. I didn't love the job but it was a job that worked for us as far as hours goes.

I really don't have much to say beyond that. Just keep our family in your prayers and hopefully I can find something sooner than later.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MAY
